We use cookies to provide you with the best possible user experience.
On this website, we log anonymous information about all visitors. We primarily use cookies for traffic measurement and optimization of content and user experience. This information cannot be traced back to you as an individual.
Cookies – what they are and how they work
Cookies – or cookies – are something that most websites use today. A cookie is a small text file that is placed in your browser’s internal memory, allowing us to see what you click on, how you navigate the website, and how the content on the website performs. We also collect information about navigation, visit duration, which browser you use, and so on. We do this to best adapt the website’s content to you as a user. Most browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.) are set to accept cookies automatically, but you can choose to change the settings so that cookies are not accepted.
Please note that this may cause many websites to stop functioning properly.
What we use cookies for:
Google Analytics
The analytics tool Google Analytics is used to study traffic, usage patterns, and trends on the website. The data collected is used to optimize the user experience and customize the content of the website. In accordance with Google’s guidelines for the use of Google Analytics, no personally identifiable information is collected about you as a user. The collected data is stored on Google’s servers. If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics collecting data about you, you can request exclusion.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager manages tracking codes and refers to tracking setups and tracking for third-party solutions like Universal Analytics (Google Analytics) and is used to optimize the website and marketing services. All tracking codes are run and managed via Google Tag Manager.
What is stored: Your movements and certain actions on the website (e.g., if you click “Add to Cart” in an online store). All data is anonymized, and we store no sensitive information such as credit card details, phone numbers, addresses, or any other type of data that can identify you as a person.
Facebook Pixel
Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool that allows us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook advertising by tracking the actions users perform on the website with a focus on optimizing Facebook Ads (building Audiences and remarketing). This information can be used to:
- Ensure that ads are shown to the right people
- Build an ad audience
- Unlock additional advertising tools on Facebook
What is stored: Which ads the user has seen on Facebook, which pages the user has visited, and which conversions (order, contact, etc.) the user has completed.
Hotjar
Hotjar maps the interaction users have with the website. To help us understand how visitors interact with the website, Hotjar records visitor sessions. The Hotjar script is a WebSocket connection that sends the following information to Hotjar’s servers:
- HTML changes that occur during the user’s session on the website
- Mouse movements
- Mouse clicks
- Scrolling movements
- Keystrokes for whitelisted actions
- Statistics on whether the browser’s display size is changed
Each tracked event is stored in Hotjar’s cloud database with a timestamp, which is later used to replay the events in sequential order. The Hotjar script tracks visitors when they visit different pages using a first-party cookie, allowing the entire session to be replayed in a single recording. No sensitive information or user information is collected or stored.
