The SB Met Unmanned Surface Vessel

The SB Met unmanned surface vessel measures meteorological parameters such as air temperature above the ocean surface, wind speed (steady and gusting), barometric pressure, and wind direction. It will also measure water temperature, wave height, and dominant wave period.

The SB Met is equipped with advanced ADCP multidisciplinary oceanographic sensors, allowing you to take concurrent currents, waves, turbulence, ice drift, acoustic backscatter measurements, and more. 

The SB Met was the first Atlantic crossing by an unmanned surface vehicle.
